Mumbai Police’s Twitter page is honestly just a meme account now, and a great meme account at that, I must say.
I don’t think there is any other official police account with over 4 million followers and if you ever scroll though their account, you would know why. From turning all the trending memes into PSAs to turning even hilarious cat videos into something meaningful, they can meme anything and that talent is so beautiful to witness.
If you’ve been on the internet recently, you probably have seen the whole ‘chai apocalypse’ that is happening, all thanks to just one woman. Yes, we’re talking about the viral sensation that is ‘haalo fraands, chai pi lo’.
If you haven’t seen the original video, then what are you even doing with your life?
As if the original video wasn’t enough, Mumbai Police made their own version (kinda) to create some awareness about ‘safe-tea’ (geddit, geddit?).
They just edited the part where she says ‘chai pi lo’ to ‘helmet pehen lo’. Using viral memes to spread awareness is the only way to go, and apparently the only way to capture the attention of millennials.

Just brilliant, right?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – the person handling this Twitter account needs a much-deserved raise and they need it now.
The ‘meme master’ is everyone’s favourite now.
Arre ye Mumbai police ka admin meme master jyada lgta hai 😂😂😂
